Injection Mold Technician – 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs / 3-Day Weekends)

• 2+ yrs of hands-on experience with plastic injection molding processes is required
• 2+ yrs as a maintenance technician in a plastic injection molding production setting is required
• Must be able to work four 10hr days Monday through Thursday on 1st shift
• Pay is up to $66,560 per year
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• No remote as this is an onsite position

This full time, permanent Injection Mold Technician opportunity has a four-day work week working ten hours per day. The employer is a smaller, growing, ISO certified, plastic manufacturer. Employees are treated well and tend to stay a long time. The plant is air conditioned.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and repair tasks on all molding and support equipment
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Document all completed PMs and repairs within the ERP Software system
• Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc
• Inspect and replace filters on HVAC units and injection molding machines
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Coordinating regular inspections and urgent repair services with external vendors
• Working ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• Proven expertise in diagnosing and fixing pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and basic electrical systems
• Negotiating contracts with service providers
• Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
• Possess the willingness to work ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within a 45-minute drive
