We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Manager to join the corporate and plant site team in leading the IT operations, systems, and infrastructure for the global chemical plant. As a self-starter, with solid Information Systems experience in IT operations management, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures based on plant site and corporate goals/guidelines. Qualifications:
–BS Computer Science degree with 10+ years experience in IT/Networking Management in Chemical Manufacturing Plants.
–Proficiency in manufacturing DCS/ PLCs, sytems/ network interface, and data management.
–Strong knowledge of technical management, information analysis and security practices.
–Requires solid experience with hardware and software systems, including VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Cisco and Meraki switches and firewalls.
–Data center management and data governance skills.
Responsibilities:
–Ensure data, network access, and systems are operational, secure, and compliant with company policies.
–Design and implement systems, policies, and procedures aligned with department and company goals.
–Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance IT infrastructure and support business goals.
–Maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s business needs through collaboration with department leaders.
–Provide support and guidance to end users through the department help desk system.
–Manage the IT budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness in line with company goals.
–Liaise with technology vendors and service providers.
–Ensure business continuity with a multi-level data backup strategy.
–Identify problem areas, communicate solutions, and implement them promptly.
