Industrial Electrical Project Manager/Estimator
We are currently recruiting for a local company seeking a motivated Industrial Electrical Project Manager/Estimator. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven experience managing and estimating large-scale industrial electrical projects.
Position Overview
In this role, you will manage projects from concept to completion, handle accurate cost estimating, attend meetings, review submittals, and collaborate closely with General Contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed, accurate electrical estimates for industrial projects up to $20M
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously; ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and documentation
  • Lead submittal review processes and project documentation control
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, project kickoffs, and ongoing progress meeting with clients and contractors
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with General Contractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with field teams to resolve project issues and manage scope changes
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Industrial Electrical Estimating and Project Management experience
  • Solid understanding of NEC Code and industrial electrical systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Bluebeam Studio
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical blueprints and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience attending and leading project meetings with owners and contractors
  • Estimating experience is essential to ensure all work complies with NEC (Nation Electrical Code) standards and project specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with BIM software, Visio, and dedicated Estimation software
  • Background working in a family-owned or closely held business environment
  • Familiarity with industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or heavy commercial projects
