Essential Functions…

Must have MANUFACTURING, UNION AVOIDANCE and MULTI-SITE experience

 

Ø  Provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, organizational development, employee relations, and labor relations. 

Ø  Effectively plan, develop, and manage human resource-related initiatives that support company  operational goals

Ø  Supervise, develop, and mentor assigned HR personnel

Ø  Partner with local and corporate management to assist with employee transactions – hiring, promotions, demotions, work related issues, corrective actions/memos of expectations, and terminations.

Ø  Monitor administration of key metrics data and overall health of human capital. Identify negative trends and quickly resolve with solutions aligned with strategic operational goals.

Ø  Responsibility for communicating, implementing and monitoring affirmative action programs

Ø  Plan, organize, and manage all HR related activities of multiple facilities. Participates in developing goals, objectives, and HR related systems.

Ø  Implement and annually update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; compensation; monitor performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

Ø  Develops, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.

Ø  Manage internal/external training/educational activities for assigned division.

Ø  Manage the development of training/educational curriculum and activities. 

Ø  Manage company exempt recruitment efforts.

Ø  Manage and monitor career pathing/performance management programs.

Ø  Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings as required, such as seminars.

Ø  Maintain organization charts.

Ø  Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of division relative to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect and enhance continue improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

Ø  Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
