About the Role:
We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, KY. This role will support HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for plant employees.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Administer benefits, payroll processing, and HRIS updates.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate safety programs and assist with workers’ compensation claims.
- Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports.
- Partner with leadership to drive HR strategies that align with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and workers’ compensation.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
