Hospitalist – Nocturnist

We invite dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine physicians to explore an exciting opportunity as a Hospitalist Nocturnist. This role is embedded within a dynamic and supportive hospital environment, renowned for its comprehensive care and advanced medical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care for unassigned patients presenting to the Emergency Department requiring inpatient treatment.
  • Admit and collaborate with intensivists for critical care patients, with no procedural requirements.
  • Manage patients within a Clinical Decision Unit and support inpatient consultations.
  • Benefit from 24/7 pulmonary and critical care support, as well as round-the-clock access to subspecialty expertise.
  • No on-call duties required, ensuring a balanced work schedule.

Schedule and Work Environment

  • Nocturnists work a minimum of 12 shifts per month with flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance.
  • Work in a Level 2 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, one of only two in the state.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams in a robust inpatient medical service.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
