Hospice RN Director Patient Services

Location: Alexandria VA Area

Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical operations
• Supervise nurses and clinical supervisors.
• Ensure patients receive proper, timely care.
• Help plan and coordinate patient services and referrals.
• Review staffing needs and patient census.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CHAP standards.
• Support budgeting, policies, and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (BSN preferred).
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in home health or hospice.
• Prior management or supervisory experience (2+ years preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of hospice care, pain management, and end-of-life support.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
