GENERAL PHARMACY STAFF PHARMACIST 8-5 Monday through Friday! On call rotation.
Must be licensed in NC and SC
Description of Responsibilities The staff pharmacist is responsible for pharmacy services including dispensing, patient profile monitoring, and drug counseling. Responsible for maintaining accreditation and adherence to all state and federal laws, rules and regulations for pharmacy operation. Responsible for inventory management, lot number tracking, and product recalls. Reporting Relationship Pharmacist in Charge Scope of Supervision Responsibilities of the General Pharmacy Staff Pharmacists include the following: 1. Maintain good relations with clients/patients. 2. Maintain a system of lot and batch numbers, which will allow for recall of medication products. 3. Dispensing respiratory medication pharmaceuticals. 4. Assure that all drugs dispensed by the pharmacy are dispensed in appropriate containers that are adequately labeled. 5. Manage any pharmaceutical recalls. 6. Maintain adequate inventory levels. 7. Assist in resolving pharmacy client concerns. 8. Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines. 9. Report product incidents as required in accordance with company policy. 10. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. 11. Participate in the pharmacy’s Performance Improvement program as requested by Human Resources. 12. Participate in membership activities of professional and industry organizations. 13. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested. 14. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy 15. Pursue continuing education programs provided by the pharmacy. 16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacists in Charge. Job Description General Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist, continued Minimum Qualifications 1. Pharmacy degree and State Licensure. 2. Compounding Experience. 3. Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes 4. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records 5. Current knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations. 6. Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel and outlook Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are the representative pf those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions in the job description: 1.
