About the Opportunity
A community hospital–based pathology practice is seeking a Board-Certified Hematopathologist to join a collegial, physician-led group serving a large regional healthcare system. This position offers a diverse mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases, along with close collaboration with oncology specialists.
Both experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic interpretation in hematopathology and related subspecialties
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, clinicians, and pathology colleagues
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as appropriate
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support a team-based, patient-centered approach to pathology services
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CP
- Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Texas
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
