ASSOCIATE – GLOBAL FRANCHISE & SUPPLY NETWORK – MULTI-OFFICE

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate to join their Global Franchise & Supply Network Practice Group. This position involves working across multiple areas of franchise and distribution law.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active bar license in the state for which office you are applying.
  • Law firm experience with a focus on franchise and distribution law.
  • Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support and grow a national practice.
  • Experience with developing and structuring franchise and distributor programs, franchise disclosure documents, and franchise agreements, as well as performing state registrations, negotiating supply contracts, assisting in franchise dispute resolution, and handling international development and cross-border transactions.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and structure franchise and distributor programs.
  • Assess and counsel on franchise contract and relationship issues.
  • Draft franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements.
  • Perform state registrations and negotiate supply contracts and other transactions.
  • Assist in franchise dispute resolution and manage international development and cross-border transactions.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $230,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
