We are actively recruiting a fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist to join a well-established division of board-certified specialists and nurse practitioners in Fall River, Massachusetts. The outpatient practice serves a large and diverse patient base, offering advanced expertise in the management of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary diseases. Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal diseases, including those of the intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary systems.
Perform routine endoscopic procedures in a busy office-based endoscopy suite.
Manage complex or higher-risk procedures at a local hospital’s outpatient suite.
Consult with inpatients admitted to the hospitalist service.
Collaborate with a team of nurse practitioners, hospitalists, nursing staff, anesthesia, and pathology professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize onsite outpatient laboratory and imaging services to facilitate efficient patient care.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
Proficiency in managing a broad range of gastrointestinal diseases.
Expertise in performing routine endoscopic procedures is required.
Additional technical skills (e.g., ERCP) or areas of specific interest are highly valued.
Ability to manage both outpatient consultations and hospital consults.
Collaborative spirit with a team-oriented mindset.
Strong knowledge of imaging, interventional services, and surgical procedures as they relate to gastrointestinal care.
