We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems in diverse settings.
Duties:
- Inspect, install and set up alarm systems according to specifications and blueprints
- Perform detailed inspections to identify and rectify any system malfunctions
- Execute regular maintenance tasks to ensure the efficiency of alarm systems
- Conduct diagnostic tests to verify the proper functioning of alarm systems
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on operating their alarm systems effectively
Experience:
- Fire Alarm License required
- Proficient in fire alarm inspection and installation
- Skilled in low voltage equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Expertise in fire alarm systems and their components
- Ability to interpret and work with blueprints effectively
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience in construction inspection is a plus
- Prior work as a service technician is advantageous
