ASSOCIATE – FINANCIAL SERVICES LITIGATION
Kansas City, MO | Los Angeles, CA | Philadelphia, PA | New York, NY

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. This position is open to all firm offices, with a preference for Kansas City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or New York.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Kansas, California, Pennsylvania, or New York, as applicable.
  • 3+ years of diverse litigation or clerking experience, ideally involving commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions and demonstrated courtroom experience.
  • Solid law firm or clerking experience, with superb problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle litigation matters related to financial services, including commercial real estate and distressed loans.
  • Take and defend depositions and represent clients in the courtroom.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic practice group and engage directly with clients.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $230,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
