Major Functional Responsibilities:
May supervise associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution. Ensure duties are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Administers company policies and participates in budget and strategic planning. Creates and/or reviews financial reporting, as reviewed by operating company President and senior leadership.
Manages the Accounting Department using independent judgment and discretion. Coordinates activities of department for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives.
Creates and reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives as pertaining to Profit and Loss (P&L) / balance sheet / cash flow. Reviews financial data for accuracy, and resolves discrepancies, including end of year audit.
Proactively develops and maintains effective reporting and management processes to identify, measure, and drive business decisions from key financial information while safeguarding resources. Manage and implement advanced systems, policies and procedures related to the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
Enforces financial discipline/guidelines and controls. Oversees processing, verifies, financial data, reporting, asset management and other processes as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related area with supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3-6 years of preferred experience in accounting, finance or related field. Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets. Proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling) and Power BI dashboards. Demonstrated
We are looking for folks with the preferred qualifications. The position will pay between $85-$110k with a 30% AIP potential. Looking to fill this one asap. It is to replace a gentleman who is retiring in April – and we would like as much time to have him train a new person as possible. If the person isn’t local, we can offer a little bit of cash to assist with relocation (no more than $5,000), but we cannot offer a full relocation package for a manager level. This manager position does not have any direct reports at this time with no immediate plans to add any.
