Finance Associate

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Finance Associate to join their Finance group in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity to join a tenured and highly skilled team within a growing practice.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Admission to the Bar of a major metropolitan area where the firm has an office.
  • 3-4 years of substantive finance experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders.
  • Experience in representing lenders in commercial real estate finance or the secondary market is preferred but not required.
  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent bank and non-bank lenders in finance transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and structuring deals to meet client objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide legal support in commercial real estate finance and secondary-market transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, financing documents, and other relevant transaction documents.
  • Manage finance transactions from inception to closing, ensuring seamless client service throughout the process.
