We are looking for a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee building maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and facility upkeep at our metal fabrication plant. This position requires technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to lead a maintenance team and ensure efficient facility operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Overseeing facility operations – Manage all aspects of building maintenance, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, lighting, fire safety, and electrical systems are functioning efficiently
- Leading a maintenance team – Supervise a group responsible for general repairs, landscaping, snow removal, and facility upkeep
- Conducting inspections & troubleshooting – Identify potential facility issues and proactively implement preventive maintenance strategies
- Managing contractor & vendor relationships – Oversee external maintenance providers, ensuring timely repairs, system upgrades, and cost-effective solutions
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations – Maintain adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other industry safety standards
- Controlling facility maintenance budgets – Track costs, manage expenses, and optimize operational efficiency
- Promoting a culture of safety & teamwork – Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to enhance facility maintenance practices
What You Bring to the Table
- Education & Experience – AAS degree in Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or related field preferred, or 5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities management within an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Technical Expertise – Strong background in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Certification Requirement – HVAC certification is required, with proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC systems
- Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to supervise teams, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure smooth facility operations
