Estimator II

The Estimator I or II is responsible for preparing estimates for projects, mainly design-build, which may include preliminary pricing through full estimates.

The Estimator I or II must develop strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and complete pricing for all estimates.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist with Project Managers.

·       Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or superintendents to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

·       Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.

·       Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

·       Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships.

Required Skills:

·       Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical field

·       5+ years of related estimating experience.

·       1+ years of field experience preferred.
