  2. Case Evaluation: Review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, to identify potential issues or ambiguities that may lead to disputes. Analyze relevant legal precedents and statutes to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of clients’ positions.

  3. Litigation Strategy: Develop effective strategies for resolving estate disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation. Advise clients on the potential risks, costs, and benefits of pursuing legal action and advocate for their interests in court proceedings.

  7. Court Representation: Represent clients in probate court hearings, trials, and other judicial proceedings. Present oral arguments, examine witnesses, and cross-examine opposing witnesses to effectively advocate for clients’ positions.

  8. Settlement Negotiations: Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing parties and their attorneys to explore potential resolutions outside of court. Negotiate favorable settlement agreements that address clients’ objectives while minimizing the time and expense of litigation.

  9. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case developments, respond to inquiries, and address concerns promptly. Provide realistic assessments of potential outcomes and manage client expectations throughout the litigation process.
