A leading national firm is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney with 2 – 6 years of experience to join its dynamic and collaborative practice serving high-profile clients across northern California.

Offices include San Francisco, Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, and Sacramento.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of employment and labor matters, including:

  • Employment litigation and complex commercial disputes involving single- and multi-plaintiff cases in federal and state courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.

  • Wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and class or representative (PAGA) actions.

  • Employment counseling on compliance, policies, investigations, and day-to-day HR issues.

  • Drafting and reviewing employment, separation, confidentiality, and related agreements.

  • Taking and defending depositions, preparing discovery responses, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and participating in mediations or settlement conferences.

Qualifications

  • 2 – 6 years of relevant employment and labor law experience (litigation and/or counseling).

  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team.

  • Experience advising or litigating for clients in the technology, venture capital, or life-sciences sectors is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $210,000 – $390,000 (depending on experience, qualifications, and location).
