Electrical Technician

Seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a growing manufacturer construction products. This role offers a work-life balance, competitive compensation and benefits.

This position is based on site in Northern Illinois (M-F).

SUMMARY

The Electrical Technician is responsible for overall maintenance of the production lines and all auxiliary equipment at the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• PLC experience
  • Setup and communicate with various PLC’s, Ladder logic experience
  • Troubleshooting with PLC, editing logic
• Familiar with safety circuits
  • Controls, safety relays, light curtains, scanners, sensors
  • Wiring various safety circuits
  • Integration of new equipment with older equipment
• Installations
  • Run and bend conduit, Pull wire, Terminate wire

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in an environment with high tech machines.
• Prior manufacturing, maintenance, electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
