Superintendent

Our client is seeking a dedicated Superintendent for their division. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various industries, including renewables, data centers, oil and gas, and more. As a Superintendent, you’ll lead job crews, ensure compliance with safety standards, and manage day-to-day operations on-site.

Day to Day Duties

  • Travel nationally to various project sites as needed.
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily work for job crew employees.
  • Hire, train, and manage job crew members, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Review and stay familiar with project plans, specifications, and contract scopes.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide necessary updates.
  • Monitor and document job progress, generating RFIs and memos as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to National Electrical Codes and safety standards.
  • Order materials and manage tool control for the job site.
  • Oversee job site cleanup and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in the electrical field, with knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting, walking, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Proficient in installing and troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC drives, and electrical gear.
  • Experience with Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of L.O.T.O policies and OSHA regulations.
