Position Overview
Seeking an Electrical Engineer with PLC controls experience to support industrial automation systems. This hands-on role involves programming, troubleshooting, and system improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred)
- Design and modify electrical control panels and systems
- Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces
- Troubleshoot automation issues on the production floor
- Create and interpret electrical schematics
- Support equipment installation and commissioning
- Maintain system documentation and ensure code compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of PLC programming experience (RSLogix, Studio 5000)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Preferred Qualifications
- HMI programming experience (FactoryTalk View, Ignition)
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks
- AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN experience
- Conveyor or vibrating equipment experience
