Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop Educational Modules: Create and implement educational programs for the abdominal transplant program.

• Train Clinical Staff: Deliver advanced training and orientation to clinical teams.

• Ensure Compliance: Uphold adherence to OPTN and CSM guidelines.

• Collaborate Across Units: Work with SICU and outpatient transplant units for seamless care delivery.

• Lead Classroom Training: Participate in a structured 3-day classroom training program.

Job Requirements

• Licensure: Active Texas RN License or multi-state compact RN license

• Education: Master’s degree (Education preferred) and BLS certification

• Experience: 5+ years of acute care nursing experience

• Specialized Background: 3 years as a Kidney Transplant Coordinator and 1 year of supervisory experience

• Work History: Consistent work history with detailed job tenure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic, OPTN, and CSM guidelines

• Certification as a Transplant Coordinator

• Strong communication and organizational skills
