Education Program Manager

Position: Education Program Manager

Location: Danville, VA  to  Reidsville, NC  

 

Education program in the Danville area is recruiting an individual to manage a new education program and work with the individuals seeking specific advance training. 

 

The manager will support learning capabilities of individuals and be measured on getting individuals through the different courses. 

 

Individuals, who have worked with military education programs, would be a great fit.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

–        Manage the education program processes and work with students.

o   Support student success

o   Monitor student progress

o   Address policy violations

o   Refine policies

–        Student Mentoring

–        Assist in evaluating program on harassment and discrimination issues.

–        Operate and align with the organization’s values, including DEI and open communication

 

REQUIREMENTS

–        Bachelor’s in human relations, education or a related field

–        Five years of experience in education or training

–        Military experience with education development and management a PLUS

–        Project Coordination experience – from inception to implementation.

–        Experience in Workforce Development

–        Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects

–        Worked as an education counselor a PLUS

–        Able to demonstrate Microsoft Office expertise

–        Able to operate through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) lens
