Under minimal supervision, operates cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce optimal echocardiographic images for diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
Required qualifications:
Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
2 years of experience in acute care hospital.
1 year of Neonatal and pediatric experience performing a minimum of 150 supervised pediatric echoes.
