• Associate’s degree with a focus on architectural & structural steel design is required minimum to apply

• 2+ yrs of design experience using AutoCAD or similar is also required

• Pay is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience

• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

• No remote as this is an onsite position

• Full-time, permanent W-2 employee

This full time, permanent Structural Metal Design Engineer / Detailer opportunity is at a stable, casual manufacturer located in a newly built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities will encompass:

• Creating 3D models and production drawings for custom, large-scale motorized door systems designed for industrial environments.

• Work on custom-designed projects tailored to meet specific client needs, requiring expertise in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Produce detailed technical documentation for fabrication and installation processes.

• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality in the design and production of motorized door systems.

Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of:

• Associate’s degree with an emphasis on architectural and structural steel design.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar 2D CAD drafting software is required.

• Experience in 3D modeling using tools like SolidWorks or Tekla.

• Understanding of electrical schematics is preferred, but not mandatory. Possess a solid work history

• Being a US citizen or green card holder

• Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
