Director of Quality Assurance – Quality department management experience at a food processing plant is required

  • A four-year food-related degree; five or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance Director or Manager at a food processing plant; five or more years of experience working with USDA regulations; and five or more years of experience with HACCP, USDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program regulations are all required
  • Pay is $120,000 to $152,000
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote as this is an 100% onsite position
  • Full-time, permanent W-2 employee

  • Located in the Jefferson, Wisconsin area

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

  • Managing, training and mentoring the QA Manager, QA Supervisor and the other QA department employees
  • Being responsible for anything related to quality 
  • Interacting with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) employees
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP and all internal and external food safety regulations
  • Creating, implementing and maintaining the Safe Quality Food (SQF) code
  • Supporting new product development and marketing

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

  • A four-year food-related degree
  • Five or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance Director or Manager at a food processing plant
  • Five or more years of experience working with USDA regulations
  • Five or more years of experience with HACCP, USDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program regulations
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
