Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursing staff in the dialysis department to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures related to dialysis services.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to dialysis care.
  • Oversee patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12 months nursing experience with additional 6 months dialysis.
  • Ht RN required additional 3 months in training of PD and Hd. 
  • Previous management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to dialysis care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff and patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
