Seeking a Design Engineer to join our team! This person is responsible for creating plans, drawings, and designs for custom products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles and techniques to manage projects effectively.
- Create economical, small to medium-scale designs that enhance the company’s competitive edge.
- Utilize computer-aided 3D software to perform detailed drafting based on specifications and product requirements.
- Prepare orders for production by providing detailed fabrication and purchasing instructions.
- Input Bills of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing methods into the ERP system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 4+ years’ experience.
- Experience in 3D modeling software, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
- Mathematical proficiency, including understanding algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, and applying them to practical situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and employees.
- Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
