Location: Somerset County, NJ (Fully onsite with potential for Hybrid later)
Reports To: VP of Water Resources Department
Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 DOE
Relocation: Not offered
Travel: Possibly up to 25% for client meetings and field visits
Ideal Candidate Background
BS in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s not required but is a plus)
PE not required (but is a plus)
2-5 years of Engineering experience in water and wastewater treatment
Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and Project
Well organized and able to communicate well (intercompany and with clients)
Prior experience with municipal water and wastewater treatment a plus
Positive and upbeat attitude with a willingness to collaborate and grow your knowledge (and career)
Key Responsibilities
Work with a team in the development and delivery of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including hydraulic and process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration.
Preparation of reports and findings, design plans and specifications, cost estimates and contract documents.
Monitor and document project progress
Provide support to project bidding
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
Able to participate in client meetings and field visits/services
