Design Engineer – Entry level

Our client needs an entry-level Design Engineer to add to their growing team.  The Design Engineer will provide drawings and designs to support existing and custom products.  The Design Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager.

 What you will be doing:

• Generate and distribute drawings, designs, and BOMs to production departments using SolidWorks.
• Assist engineering team in engineering changes and request documents of products.
•  Provide support in product engineering for manufacturability.
• Provide pertinent information for outsourced materials and components.
• Provide necessary support to the production floor on a day-to-day basis as products are being built.

What they are looking for:

• Associates or B.S. in Drafting, Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• SolidWorks Certification is preferred.
• Internship or up to 2 years of experience with designing products in a metal fabrication and assembly environment is preferred.
