Custom Electrical Systems Integration Engineer
  • Three or more years of custom automation machine design experience, three or more years of electrical design experience, two or more years of mechanical design experience and two or more years of LabView experience are all required
  • Travel is up to 15% with almost all being in the domestic United States
  • Pay up to $120,000

This employee-oriented, family-oriented, customer-oriented, custom industrial automation certified systems integration company is hiring a full time, permanent Custom Electrical Systems Integration Engineer. There are advancement opportunities and this could grow into management, if that is of interest. Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
  • Being the electrical expert
  • Evaluating customer needs
  • Creating quotes and prototypes
  • Determining automation project requirements and risks
  • Managing automation projects
  • Designing custom industrial automation machines
  • Designing electrical controls and electrical power distribution
  • Designing electrical hardware
  • Testing
  • Liaising between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and manufacturing employees
  • Backing up the LabView developer if needed
  • Traveling up to 15% with almost all being in the domestic United States

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

  • Three or more years of custom automation machine design experience
  • Three or more years of electrical design experience
  • Two or more years of mechanical design experience
  • Two or more years of LabView experience
  • Possess the ability to travel up to 15% with almost all being in the domestic United States
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
