Our global chemical client is searching for a high performance Corporate Program Manager to champion their overall Mechanical Integrity (MI) and Fixed Equipment Inspection programs. Multi-site responsibility for developing and leading the MI aspects of process safety programs. Requires extensive background in Strategic Leadership and Mechanical/ Equipment Engineering expertise for driving corporate excellence initiatives.  Offering competitive salary, bonus, benefits and relocation options.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a corporate-wide plan for improving and expanding the MI Programs, including managing vessel, piping, and relief device inspections and repairs.
  • Implement and maintain the risk-based equipment inspection program.
  • Work with site Inspection leaders to improve fixed equipment reliability at all sites with appropriate risk based and known industry damage mechanism inspection strategies, including the scheduling and oversight of the inspections, and the subsequent review of results.
  • Conduct rollout and training on MI program for site Inspection and Reliability, Operations and Engineering groups.
  • Review and approve inspection scope/plans for site turnarounds and inspections.
  • Perform internal audits of site Mechanical Integrity programs and Inspection routines
  • Identify and make recommendations to reduce/eliminate repeated fixed equipment failures
  • Support design improvements for equipment/systems to improve overall reliability, availability, and predictability of production, improve process safety, and environmental performance including complex designs.
  • Create Damage Mechanism Review and Corrosion Control Documents (CCDs)
  • Create Inspection Task Plans (ITPs) in regard to API (510, 570, 653, & 580)
  • Champion and guide the use of PCMS for the sites inspection data.
  • Provide/Calculate Risk Assessments and End of Life remaining service estimates.
  • Mentor and develop site Inspectors; establishing goals for the site inspection groups; and maintaining procedures/guidelines and QA documentation systems
  • Attend training courses and conferences to stay up to date on asset integrity evaluation methods, welding trends and technologies

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years experience in Mechanical Reliability/ Maintenance of fixed and rotating equipment in PSM regulated plants.
  • 5 years of Mechanical Integrity program management experience in petrochemical facilities
  • Knowledge of MI related regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards, etc. and all other RAGAGEP
  • AWS CWI certification
  • Professional Engineers License preferred.
  • API Certifications in the following: 510, 570, 580, 579, 650, 653
