Corporate Bankruptcy and Restructuring Attorney

Our client, a premier global law firm consistently ranked among the top 10 largest in the U.S. by revenue, is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Associate for its elite Corporate Restructuring practice.

The successful candidate will work on high-profile domestic and international matters, including out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 reorganizations, and distressed asset sales.

Location: Chicago

Salary: $235,000 to $365,000

Key Responsibilities:

– Representing debtors, creditors, and investors in complex restructuring and insolvency proceedings

– Drafting and negotiating plan documents, disclosure statements, and financing motions

– Advising on distressed M&A transactions and cross-border insolvency matters

– Leading case strategy and managing junior associates on sophisticated deal teams

Qualifications: – 4 to 7 years of sophisticated corporate restructuring experience at a major law firm

– JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials

– Admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible to waive in

– Exceptional analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
