Controller/CFO

Current revenue numbers and size:  

$9.5 to $10M with 52 people.   Warehouse 35,000 sq ft in Cartersville and 42,000 sq ft plant in Kennesaw.

 

Accounting is in really good shape under current person, who is leaving due to health and family reasons.  She will stay on until someone is hired and trained.

 

Accounting group is stable.  CFO will still have direct report.

 

Manufacturing preferred but not absolutely required

 

100% in office.

 

Very hands on role – incumbent is doing most of the close and reporting.  Has a staff of clerical folks – an AP and an AR person.  Rest is the CFO/Controller.

This is a very hands on role with responsibilities for financial reporting, accounting, general ledger and cash flow management as well as finance and strategy.  The CFO along with the President, the VP Sales and GM use a strong team approach to actively manage the business and meet biweekly to strategize.  The successful candidate will have a willingness to engage in the business and help it grow.

Required:

• BS Accounting or Finance
• CPA REQUIRED
• MBA a plus
• Must have manufacturing experience including job cost understanding (printing industry a plus)
• Management experience
