How many opportunities come around to work on setting up a new controls system, within a new facility? This company is still technically a start-up, but they are in Series D funding (very late-stage start-up), and are well-underway in building a $1B processing and manufacturing plant that is set to come online within the next two years. This person will be the beginning of a dedicated process control group that will initially be working to create a control system design, then will be working with vendors on delivery and SAT/FAT and then will be overseeing installation, commissioning and startup of the facility as it comes online. After that – this person will be an integral part of the on-going process control work as well as likely helping to execute similar projects at future sites.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (will consider other engineering degree with the requisite experience)
3+ years of in-plant process control programming and troubleshooting experience; the ideal candidate would have 10+ years, but can consider less
Need to come out of a manufacturing environment, ideally chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, refining, pulp & paper, or something closely related
Compensation:
Base + Bonus, eligible for equity shares on a vesting schedule, full benefits, 401K program (no match), and managed relocation assistance that will be determined on your specific scenario
