Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transactional / Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects. This role requires an attorney who can independently manage deals from start to finish, including negotiating and drafting agreements, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closings.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, loan documents, and other related contracts.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and property inspections.
• Advise clients on legal and business issues related to real estate transactions, including structuring deals and managing risks.
• Coordinate and manage closing processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and updates throughout transactions.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective handling of client matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Extensive experience in negotiating and drafting real estate transaction documents.
• Strong understanding of Georgia real estate laws and regulations.
