COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

A top AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Commercial Litigation practice group in Portland.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
• Member in good standing of the state bar of the state of Oregon.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil or complex business litigation.
• Experience with a judicial clerkship is encouraged.
• Strong work ethic, commitment to professionalism, and a drive for excellence.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with large and sophisticated litigation matters and e-discovery is a plus.
• Superb references.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent a diverse range of businesses and individuals in federal and state court proceedings, as well as in alternative dispute resolution venues.
• Work closely with experienced collaborative attorneys on complex litigation matters, both locally and nationally.
• Engage in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
