Commercial Buyer

My client is a leading supplier of industrial die cutting presses for non-metallic material cutting applications, including a range of cutting machines and Traveling Head, Receding Beam, and Narrow Web die cutting machines. 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer in Cincinnati, OH. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services needed for our operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, evaluating quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support the production process.

• Sourcing, Negotiation, and Purchasing skills
• Inventory Management and Supplier Relationship Management
• Ability to analyze quotes and make informed purchasing decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, administrative and time management abilities
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of Products & Experience with Windows based computers.
• At least five years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent skills at negotiating and contract writing.
