CNC Milling Machinist – 1st Shift

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in 5-axis operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including performing machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers, machines, and processes.
• Interpret blueprint specifications to select tools and set appropriate feeds and speeds.
• Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines.
• Monitor and re-order tools as necessary.
• Lift and handle materials up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience in CNC 3 & 4-axis milling setup and operations.
• Aerospace industry background preferred.
