Compensation: $72,000 per year + PAID Relocation

 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Maintenance Repair Technician to join our  clients team in Syracuse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CNC machinery and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machinery and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected machine failures.
  • Collaborate with the production team to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs conducted.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in training operators on proper machine operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
  • Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading.
  • PLC
  • Proven experience in CNC machinery maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • Must be willing to work second shift.
