We are a precision contract machining company looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in turning or milling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Operation: Set up and run CNC Lathe or Milling machines, ensuring all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine part dimensions and setup requirements.
- Process Optimization: Determine the best processes, tools, and programming techniques to produce high-quality parts efficiently.
- Collaboration: Assist other operators and machinists, sharing your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
- Quality Control: Inspect your own work, troubleshoot issues, and recommend optimal cutting tools to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Machinist, with strong expertise in Turning or Milling. Job shop experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with a variety of metals, especially working with tight tolerances.
- Self-Management: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Quality Focus: Must possess the ability to inspect work accurately, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
