Job Description

  • Assist in providing occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence in daily activities
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
  • Follow and modify treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Document patient sessions and maintain accurate records
  • Supervise therapy technicians and support staff
  • Engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts

Qualifications

  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or ability to obtain
  • Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
