Calibration Technician – Ensure Precision & Quality

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to lead our equipment calibration efforts and help maintain the highest standards of accuracy in our manufacturing processes. In this vital role, you will oversee the management, calibration, and maintenance of all inspection equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance

• Oversee the use of all inspection equipment to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to calibration standards.
• Immediately quarantine, repair, or remove any equipment found to be out of tolerance or unsuitable for use.

🔹 Calibration Scheduling & Execution

• Develop, monitor, and maintain calibration schedules for all in-house gages and measurement tools.
• Perform hands-on calibration of in-house gages to ensure accuracy and reliability.

🔹 Vendor Management

• When needed, establish and manage relationships with external calibration service providers, ensuring they meet company quality and certification standards.

🔹 Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and submit accurate calibration reports into the system, maintaining comprehensive and organized records.
• Ensure all calibration documentation aligns with internal quality policies and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

✔ Strong understanding of calibration processes, precision measurement equipment, and quality control requirements.
✔ Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple schedules and priorities.
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical documentation related to measurement equipment.
✔ Strong communication skills to work with internal teams and external calibration vendors.
✔ Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems is a plus.
