Hours and Compensation Potential:
Full-time position and hours are day shift. Will have to rotate on call duties.
Compensation ranges from $30.27hr to $41.66hr, depending on experience.

What We’re Looking For:
Associates Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BMET 1 or above in a healthcare setting.
Ability to learn the fundamentals in LAN/WAN integration to collaborate across groups and teams as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Under moderate supervision of the Department Manager/BMET Supervisor and other senior technicians, inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate all types of basic clinical equipment, devices, system, and instruments.
Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development.
A BMET II possesses the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a broad range of clinical inventory devices.
Participates in and conducts on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.
The BMET II will work toward status of a BMET III by attaining significant proficiency on sophisticated clinical devices and systems, ability to train and mentor junior technicians, and develop supervisory and administrative skills leading toward leadership positions.
Performs all tasks in strict adherence to the departmental Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP).
Monitors “Corrective” and “Scheduled” Open Work Order reports regularly to ensure timely completion and accuracy of work requests.
Orders parts or vendor services necessary to maintain equipment within manufacturer’s specifications.
Schedules and oversees third party activities as necessary

Position reports to the BioMed Manager and be a part of a multi-campus 6 person team.
Work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment. This position is kind of like a lead/coordinator as they want someone that can work between vendors/imaging and keeping things organized.
