AutoCAD Drafter

Responsibilities:

• Experience in High Voltage up to 220KV (Must)

• Preparation of Single Line Diagram

• Preparation of Electrical Equipment Plan & Section Layout

• Preparation of Earthing & Lightning Protection Layout

• Preparation of Erection Key Diagram

• Preparation of Power Cable Tray Route Layouts

• Preparation of Lighting and Power Layout

• Preparation of General Arrangement Layout

• Responsible for the preparation of Electrical Execution Drawings for grounding layout

• Cable Trench Layout, Area Cable Trench & Tray Routing Layout

• Checking of Electrical drawings prepared by Electrical Draught Person, managing IDC (Inter Discipline Check-Print), resolving obstructions & interferences with other disciplines to ensure error-free design deliverables

• Conducting site visits during construction for surveys & As-Built updates

• Checking Electrical drawings prepared by Electrical Designer/Draught Person

• Well-versed in drafting procedures, CAD deliverables, and Electrical-related standards

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

• Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus

• 4+ years of experience in engineering/designing electrical systems within the Utilities or Energy industry

• Skilled in AutoCAD (MicroStation experience is a plus)

• Experience with ETAP, WinIGS, IEEE 88/998

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Bentley MicroStation, and/or Bentley Substation software to develop 2D drawings or 3D models is a plus
