We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer with a belief in movement science to join our dynamic athletic training team at the Division III collegiate level. Our institution is committed to providing a supportive and faith-based environment for our student-athletes, fostering their growth both academically and athletically. This is a non-travelling position that allows our Athletic Trainers to maintain a solid work life balance.
Position Summary:
The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services to our student-athletes, ensuring their physical well-being and optimal performance through a holistic approach. As a member of our athletic training staff, you will collaborate with coaches, athletes, and medical professionals to deliver top-quality care.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Athletic Training or Exercise Science or similar or Bachelors degree in Athletic Training plus equivalent experience.
· Current certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
· Certifications similar to Goata, Primal Movement Specialist, IASTM and FRC are all a plus
· CSCS certification (preferred).
· Experience with dry needling (beneficial but not required).
· Knowledge of how to assess and address movement dysfunction is preferred
· Passion for athletic training and a commitment to student-athlete well-being.
· Ability to work in environment that follows Christian mission and values.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate, diagnose, and treat athletic injuries using a movement-based approach.
· Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that emphasize functional movement and mobility.
· Provide preventative care and injury prevention strategies, focusing on movement quality and biomechanics.
· Adhere to NCAA and NCCAA regulations and guidelines.
· Coordinate with team physicians and other healthcare providers.
· Attend practices, games, and competitions.
· Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
