Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a talented and motivated mid-senior level Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a sophisticated, full-service labor and employment practice that advises employers across a wide range of industries on complex counseling and litigation matters. JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
4+ years of substantive labor and employment law experience
Substantial experience handling employment litigation matters, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and trade secret misappropriation
Experience managing the deposition process, including preparation and strategy
Proven ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Experience overseeing the employment litigation lifecycle from discovery through trial, including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment
Strong background counseling employers on a broad range of employment issues, including employee discipline and termination, workplace policies, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants, employment agreements, internal investigations, and leave of absence matters
Exceptional time management, written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills
