Location

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, offering daily collaboration, training, and courtroom exposure.

Candidates must be admitted to practice in California and have civil litigation experience.

Job Description

• Handle general liability and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery with guidance from senior attorneys
• Prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
• Appear in court for routine hearings and motions
• Manage discovery, including document review and written responses
• Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Meet assigned billable hour expectations through efficient case management
• Participate in CLEs and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience
• General liability or insurance defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
