We’re hiring an Applied Chiller Service Technician in San Francisco, CA to handle service, repairs, and diagnostics on large commercial HVAC systems—especially chillers.
Impact
Keep critical systems cool and reliable
Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical issues
Deliver expert service clients can count on
Minimize downtime with efficient, high-quality work
Responsibilities
Service and repair air- and water-cooled chillers (screw, centrifugal, magnetic)
Perform teardowns, rebuilds, and major diagnostics
Support system startups and commissioning
Communicate with customers and complete service reports
Follow all safety and OEM procedures
Requirements
Must-Haves
12+ years of commercial HVAC experience
5+ years working directly with applied systems and chillers
Skilled with screw and centrifugal units
Based in the San Francisco area with a solid job history
Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
Nice-to-Haves
Factory training or OEM certifications (Trane, York, Carrier, etc.)
Centrifugal teardown experience
EPA Universal, OSHA 10/30
Bonus: controls or BAS knowledge
